About Me

Hello, my name is Kimberly Benedict, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor in the state of Texas. I have been providing psychotherapy for sixteen years. I have provided services in multiple settings with many types of populations. The most rewarding work I have found is working in private practice with people that want to work on themselves. I have extensive experience working with teens. Adolescents are my favorite people ! I provide an integrative approach from the backgrounds of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rogerian (Person Centered), Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Adlerian, and Solution Focused. I utilize interventions and techniques to best meet the needs of my clients. My goal is to provide you with a safe, genuine, comfortable environment in which you will flourish and be able to successfully meet your personal goals. My specialties are working with Major Depressive Disorder and Anxiety Disorders, this includes self-harm and other unhealthy coping skills. I also have extensive experience working with clients on the High Functioning end of the Autism Spectrum in regards to emotional regulation and social skills. I truly care about my client's needs and wants.

Kimberly is very gentle and moves slowly. She respects her clients and patients. She includes the family whenever possible and encourages good habits from her patients. My teen is in good hands.
