About me

Welcome! My name is Keeli Lamie and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Indiana. I obtained my bachelors in Human Services from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and spent almost 5 years as a mental health case manager, specializing in school-aged clients but also working with adults, families, and Department of Child Services. Since obtaining my Masters in Social Work from IUPUI, I have been an individual, family and school-based therapist working with clients of all ages ranging from 3-years-old and up. I have worked with behavioral problems, school-based struggles, addictions, trauma and abuse, depression, anxiety, marital/relationship struggles, mood disorders, counseling before geriatric surgery, self-esteem issues, parenting, grief and loss, clients involved with DCS and probation, and adjusting to life’s changes. I specialize in middle school through college aged clients and have spent a majority of my time working with pre-teen through young adults in school-based and office-based settings. I am also a Licensed School Social Worker through the state of Indiana. I believe in utilizing a trauma-focused approach that draws from tenets of strengths-based approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and solution-focused techniques. I believe the most important aspect of a counseling environment is a trusting therapeutic relationship. I focus on having a non-judgmental and accepting approach as I work to get to know you so that you feel confident and comfortable expressing your feelings. Having a good connection with a therapist can help create the foundation for effective change and progress in the counseling experience. With a strong therapeutic relationship, we can work together as a team to work through whatever it is you are facing. You do not have to go through life’s struggles alone and you have a made a big step by visiting Better Help. I cannot wait to work with you!

Keeli is a wonderful therapist. I stopped seeing her very suddenly because I moved out of state, but I was in a crisis when I started therapy and she really helped me through.

Keeli has been a steady support as I tried to grow in some specific personal areas. She has coached me to many insights and always made sure to let me come up with my own solutions. I am happy to say that, with Keeli's support, I have made more progress in my growth-areas than I had dared to expect!

Keeli instantly went to work and is so punctual in checking in and responding. I'm just beginning but so far she's exactly what I wanted!

I've been using this service for not that long but Keeli asks good questions and listens it like texting a friend who listens and gives solid advice I've been struggling with finding my purpose and coming to terms with being asexual. I tell my friends all the time about this service it's a life changer.

So I feel very glad to have Keeli to talk to and my own personal person to talk to about my own issues and that I won't be judged. She is also very sweet, kind, and she always smiles but today i just had a talk with her but she's still a good person to talk to if you have trouble with something in school or out of school. She also will check on me every few days to see if my day was good or if there was an issue. Thank you. She is the best.

I am very glad to have Keeli as my counselor. She's a good listener and gives good advice. I also have the feeling that I can talk to her just about anything without being judged. On top of that she is always smiling and has the sweetest personality. I would definitely recommend her!

I cannot say enough positive about Keeli. I have worked with her about a month but I already feel like she understands what I am going through and helps me with small steps to help achieve the big goal. She is very good about getting back with me and checking up on me when it has been a few days since we have talked. She seems to tell me not always what I want to hear but what I need to hear. Would recommend teencounseling.com and specifically Keeli to anyone in need of counselling.
