About me

I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I am also a board certified art therapist with over 20 years experience working with adolescents, and children in individual and family settings. My expertise is working with children and adolescents. The clinical issues I have the most experience in are depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, stress management, bullying, children of divorce and children of addicted parents, also life changes. I have also helped many people who suffer from trauma.

My counseling style is person-centered. I believe that counseling should focus on the whole person, their experiences, and environmental situations. Treating people with respect, dignity, and sensitivity is extremely important to me. Mindfulness and focusing on the here and now are a top priority in my therapeutic approach. I will tailor my therapy skills to meet your needs to obtain your goals in your treatment plan.

I believe counseling is a journey we take together. I am honored to hear your story and will treat it with utmost respect, free of judgements. It takes much courage to seek out guidance. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you to fulfill your goals.

I look forward to accompanying you and your child on your journey!

Kathleen is an amazing listener. She always validates my feelings and she's very kind and professional at the same time. She checks on me a few times a week which I like because it gives me pause to reflect on my week.

Kathleen has been a delight to talk to and work with. I've never talked to a counselor before, but she put me at ease, listened to 4 years of personal history, and was able to offer sage advice in the varied challenges I was facing.

Kathleen is kind, non judgements and just a positive energy that I needed during a few difficult months of my life. I highly recommend her to anyone who just needs someone to talk their problems out with. She is an expert at her craft!

This is by far the best counseling I've ever experienced and I've already recommended to friends. Kathleen checks in with me, makes recommendations, and offers respectful suggestions.
