About Me

Hello. My name is Jessica Waldron, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Minnesota. I received my license in 2017, yet have been working in the field since 2012. Prior to becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist, I was a special education teacher in Minnesota primarily working with children and adolescents with emotional and behavior disorders. Additionally, I do have experience working with intellectual disabilities and autism. In addition to these experiences, I am also a Master's Level Art Therapist, which means that I am trained to use art as a modality in treatment. Often art therapy taps into the unconscious and brings that information forward without necessarily having to talk every detail out. Once the struggle is identified, I enjoy working with the child and adolescent to identify skills that they already have, learn new skills to add to their tool box, and practice these skills to become habit forming, so that they can be used in times of need.

I would really like the opportunity to work with your child or adolescent to help them through this troubling time in their life, give them skills for success, and help them grow into adulthood.

Thank you for learning more about me and determining if I am a good fit for you.
