About Me

I believe that each person should be the expert on themselves. Through mental health counseling/therapy, stress management, anger management, and life coaching, I help people understand themselves and learn how to excel in all aspects of life.
I treat everyone with respect and warmth. I work to ensure that our sessions will be tailored to your needs and goals.

My counseling style is pretty laid back. I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate, with a pretty good sense of humor. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you to maximize them to overcome your obstacles. I'm here to help you sort through the things that are difficult right now, and offer you a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgment.
I believe strongly in a collaborative process in designing counseling experiences. You are the expert on you, the techniques we will use may change depending on your style and needs. Every individual is unique, and no one orientation will serve all.

I feel beyond lucky to have been paired with Jessica. She is so knowledgeable and thoughtful. She’s creative and has already helped me in so many ways. I could go on and on about how wonderful she is.

I liked Jessica's style. I left the session feeling lighter than when it started. I also was able to clarify goals and feel like she will hold me accountable in a kind/compassionate way for my progress. I felt she was empathetic and gave me new and helpful ways of looking at the situations I am dealing with currently.

Jessica has an observant and constructive approach during sessions. I feel like I am being seen and heard. On days when therapy feels like a struggle before I even begin, she has a tender approach that leaves me feeling lighter than when I started. Overall, I would say that Jessica is adaptable to the vibe of the day.

I was initially hesitant to accept Jessica because she’s much younger than me and I held a bias about receiving counsel from someone younger than me. But I’m really glad I did. She has been the ideal person to meet me in my struggles, help me organize my thoughts, and implement healthy boundaries to improve relationships. Grateful for her and the groupinars.

I appreciate how kind and knowledgeable Jessica is. She listens intently and asks great questions during our sessions that help me think in new ways about the challenges I'm facing. Jessica is also a prompt and professional communicator. I appreciate her so much!
