About me
I am licensed in Wisconsin with 22 years of professional work experience. About half of my experience has been working with teens. My philosophy of counseling is based on the belief that the client is the expert and has the power to elicit change, and I am a guide in your journey. I employ techniques coming from a Strengths Based Perspective, Positive Psychology, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy to challenge the internal thinking process and encourage positive change. Mindfulness-based interventions and solution-focused techniques may also be used to enhance functioning and guide the process. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Being a teen in the word today has its unique challenges. I am here to support & empower you.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Jennifer Sovey-Fahey. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
She's so kind and open to tailoring her strategies to your needs. She's completely non-judgemental and very reassuring.
My kid really connected with Jennifer and she was very responsive to me as a parent.
