About me
My name is Jennifer Myers. I was born and raised in Missouri. I received my master's in social work from Missouri State University. I am an LCSW. I started my career specifically working with teenagers. I remember how full of angst these years were for me and I believe this gives me a heart for this age group.
Since 2013 I have been providing therapy specializing in depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disturbances, relationship issues, sexual abuse, survivors of dysfunctional families. My counseling style is empathetic, non-judgmental, yet direct if I believe it will be helpful . I believe we are doing our best. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and emotion-based counseling. I will tailor our conversations and treatment plan to meet your individual needs.
It takes courage to reach out. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I can't say enough about Jennifer! She is pretty much the reason I'm still alive. She's kind, caring, empathetic and just a good human being!
Love Jennifer and the compassion she has for her clients. She's a great listener
She is great
I have been through a few therapists lately and so far Jennifer is the ONLY one I have felt comfortable enough with to begin opening up. She validates my feelings and is always responsive when I need it
It’s been a very good experience. I look forward to continuing the therapy with Jennifer.
Jennifer is a very supportive, empathetic, and non-judgmental listener. Her emotional intelligence and advice have helped me get through my crisis, to better understand my own emotions, and she has played an important role in my personal development. I’m so thankful and I could not have asked for a better counselor!
She is fantastic and professional and lovely
Jennifer is the first councillor I got matched with and it couldn't be a better fit, even after a few sessions I'm already finding it easier to navigate through tough emotions and situations. I'm so grateful for her.
Jennifer was an incredible counsellor. She has helped me get my confidence back and continue on the journey to becoming the best version of myself. We did video sessions once a week, I also had homework weekly to practice some of what we had discussed. I will definitely request to have her back if and when I need the support. Thank you so much Jennifer ! ☺️
Jennifer was lovely to chat with and really took time to understand my anxieties. She had actionable insight that are helping me.
Jennifer is allowing my son to feel comfortable in a therapy setting.
