Hello and congratulations on making the choice to better yourself - you won't regret it!
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have several years of professional experience working with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, psychosis, trauma, and developmental disabilities. I also have personal experience with family and relationship issues, trauma, and loss as a foster/adoptive mom. The framework that I like to use is Cognitive Behavior Therapy, or CBT. This therapy encourages us to work as a team to come up with solutions to a wide variety of problems; problems that you will eventually feel confident solving on your own. We'll identify feelings, thoughts, and behaviors associated with an event, examine the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and work toward getting rid of unhelpful thoughts and behaviors and replacing them with positive, healthy ones.
As someone who has also participated in therapy as a client, I understand how important it is to feel comfortable with your therapist and to feel like you can trust them. I know that we'll be able to work through the toughest of issues together; I can't wait to work with you!

I love her! She checks on my daughter listens ,gives her solutions that she understands and can accomplish . Jennifer is a great edition to our family .
She has been great!
Jennifer has been great! I feel like I’m talking to a well educated, non-judgemental friend. She’s given great suggestions and I’m thankful for her!
Jennifer is very attentive, intuitive, and intelligent. I feel very comfortable sharing my issues with her, with confidence that she has a genuine interest in my well being and improving my situation. I’m glad I was able to connect with her.
She was so good I really only needed 1 meeting....
I love talking to Jennifer! She understands me and offers different ways to solve my problems. I feel like I can be completely open and honest with her because she doesn't judge me and makes it clear that she is on my side. It may seem small but I'm really not use to that. I like that she tells me like it is but isn't harsh with her delivery. She comes prepared to every one of sessions so I'm not having to repeat what we talked about last session. I feel like everyone needs a Jennifer in their life.
Jennifer is great to work with. She is very knowledgeable, positive and listens very well.
Has been helpful in her mirroring of my thoughts and feelings that are sometimes difficult to convey.
Jennifer is awesome and has been very helpful. She is kind and warm, and disarming during session. I really appreciate the way she facilitates discussion!
She’s wonderful. Very supportive, responsive and easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend.
