I am a marriage and family therapist licensed in the state of Florida with over 7.5 years of experience. I have worked with adolescents presenting with a wide range of concerns, such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem/self-confidence, anger management, mild substance use, OCD, ADHD, and stress management (such as with performance/school). I have also worked with teens who have experienced a traumatic incident (or series of incidents), such as emotional, physical, or sexual abuse, and may or may not be diagnosed with PTSD because of it.
I would describe my counseling style as collaborative and calming. I believe everyone should be treated with respect, compassion, and come from a place of understanding. I typically utilize a combination of approaches such as person-centered, cognitive behavioral, solutions focused, and EMDR therapy. Of course, I will tailor our interactions, treatment, and subsequent goals/plan to meet their specific and unique needs. Therapy is a very interactive and collaborative process, which also means that treatment may need to be adjusted as progress is made.
Please know that it takes an amazing amount of courage to first seek out a therapist, and an even greater amount of courage (and strength) to make the changes necessary in order to improve their quality of life. Nothing happens in a bubble, therefore changes to the environment may also be necessary to provide for lasting positive effects.
If you, and your child, are ready to take that step, know that I am here to support and empower your child throughout the entire journey.
I look forward to working with you/your child!

I have only had one live session so far, but all of my communication with her has been very helpful in helping me move through. She provided some additional articles for me to read that I appreciated that.
Jennifer Little made my daughter and I feel comfortable right away. My daughter opened up and established a rapport with Jennifer fairly quickly. Anytime that I had a question, she responded quickly. Jennifer was always professional but was also honest and down to earth. She is a “real” person with good practical advice.
She is very professional and easy to talk too. Helps me figure out what I need to work on on my own by guiding me not by telling me which helped me cope with a lit of my problems where I have been progressing amazingly in the short time I’ve had dealing with her. She is hands down the best and I’m very happy and excited to have my sessions with her since after them I feel great and ready to tackle my days
Jennifer is fantastic. Listens, makes me feel comfortable and not pressured. I recommended her to a friend who also joined teen counseling and we both feel very confident in her expertise and advice. I’m learning effective coping mechanisms and techniques for dealing with my anxiety and look forward to my weekly sessions!
Jennifer has really helped me in my everyday life struggles with our therapy sessions. She always finds a solution & is very quick to respond. I have already noticed a huge difference.
Jennifer has been wonderful and given me great resources to help me help myself. I'm feeling like I'm headed in the right direction with her help.
Jennifer has been insightful, flexible and professional. I felt safe and comfortable with her from inception. She has been super helpful.
She has been so helpful to me and I feel totally supported by her
