About Me
I have years of experience working with youth, adolescents and their families dealing with a range of issues from juvenile delinquency, substance abuse and trauma. I have developed professionalism and discipline form my time in the U.S. Army, and have extensive experience in education and coaching. I have spent years helping youth academically, athletically and socially. I have worked with the offender populations and have demonstrated a safe and caring space for this marginalized group. In addition, I have worked with victims of abuse, and have created a safe, caring empathetic place for them to process their concerns. My experience has allowed me to develop the unique ability to bridge the gap between, offender/victim, teacher/student, caregiver/child, felon/community and individual/system. If you are in need of culturally competent, evidenced based treatment, with a focus on solutions, and a balanced approach of love and logic, faith and fact then look no further.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Jaymon Walker. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
Jaymon is a phenomenal listener, and not only helps to validate my thoughts and feelings but make sense of them as well.
He has helped me alot with examples and stories that relate to mine to help me see better into my situation so I can step back and look at my problem
Our first session a was great we learned a lot and the homework that was given has helped us already. We are looking forward to continuing with Dr Walker and growing together with his help.

Working good
I find Jaymon to be absolutely practical in his approach. I like that He uses real life examples to relate with what your going through. In the end what I have learned is I need to be the change I want to see.. This was exactly what I needed.
Thank you for your help! I’m already seeing great progress.

Jaymon is gifted in the area of counseling. He is flexible based on client needs and speaks wisely and with truth
Jaymon has been very helpful in my life, having never tried therapy before I didn't know what to expect. He has said a lot of things that stick with me throughout my day and help me to see things properly. Also he has helped to validate my feelings and normalize the way I feel. Jaymon uses some of his life experiences to relate to my life. He has checked in on me regularly and is a very reliable person.
