Hello! My name is Jason Fox and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation in Tennessee (LPC,MHSP) I have 15 years experience in mental health. I practice primarily cognitive behavioral therapy. I focus on trying to teach people that we need to think and act better first in order to feel better. I have experience working in crisis and crisis supervision. I have worked with clients as young as 5 and as old as in their 80's. I have seen a lot of different things over the years and the most important thing to me as a therapist is to meet clients where they are at and to have a positive working relationship with them to help them get to where they are going.
It is often difficult to begin the journey of therapy and I am glad you are considering it. Most people come to therapy hoping to try and fix something in their life that does not seem to be working so well. I will work with you to try and discover what all is going on and how we can work together to help you be the best self you can be. I believe in focusing on building small, easy to learn coping skills and taking consistent baby steps towards your goals.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.

He is a GREAT counselor! He has a ton of positive energy, he has helped our marriage and relationship much more than I thought possible, highly recommended.
Jason is great! He meets me and my kiddo where we are both at and is great at building trust with my teen. Our relationship has gotten so much stronger since we started with Jason
Jason is awesome
Jason is great. He has given me some tools to help with my situation and I'm extremely grateful for that.
Jason is very easy to talk to and really knows his stuff. I was really impressed by his ability to understand me and provide meaningful, relevant responses. He wasn’t afraid to go deep, but the energy always seemed light. It was sort of uncanny in the best way.
He’s a great guy, helped me a lot. He genuinely wants to see me better and I like that
I think that one of the things that I appreciate about Jason is that he talks to me like a normal person, not in some put on role. Ive had therapists before who have seen me as a patient and though that is understandable I like being seen as more of a person than just a "customer". I appreciate the level of respect that Jason shows me.
He’s been very helpful throughout my whole process. He is really helping me to reevaluate my life’s journey.
Jason is able to hone into my concerns quickly and gives me a lot to think about.
Jason Fox has helped my husband and I significantly. He is an expert in his field, and has helped both with our marriage- as well as working through childhood issues we both endured. He keeps sessions fun, but straight to the point and isn’t afraid to tell you how it is! I highly recommend him for any form of counseling.
Jason is very attentive and has a calming way about him. He suggests exercises to help with my anxiety and checks up on me between sessions. I would highly recommend him.
