Hi! My name is Jamie Bogner, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. I achieved my Masters in Behavioral Science from Walden University, in Minnesota, in 2010. I chose therapy as a profession because I enjoy connecting with people who are looking for someone to talk to without an judgment, and who will offer them skills to make positive changes.
Some of my areas of experience are with treatment of domestic violence, sexual assault, PTSD and other areas of trauma, substance use disorders, criminal behavior, anxiety, relationship issues, and self-esteem.
I have worked with teens throughout my entire career, and enjoy that immensely. Some of the most common issues I have worked with are substance use, trauma, relationship struggles, abuse, anxiety, self-harming behaviors, and ADHD.
I work with my clients to identify areas they want to improve upon, treatment goals, and therapy modalities to ensure they make progress, and feel safe and comfortable in therapy. I utilize different treatment modalities, depending on what makes the most sense for each client. Treatment modalities I use are, EMDR (Eye Movement, Desensitization and Reprocessing) Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

Jamie has been the diamond in the rough when it comes to counselors. I've done therapy and counseling many times in the past and simply never got anything from it, other than being asked "so how does that make you feel", 30x in a 60min session. She truly cares, took the time to understand my specific goals for counseling, and has the expertise to address the root cause of my issues rather than just band-aid the symptoms. Thank you Jamie, you truly make a measured positive impact on my life.
Jamie provides a safe space for you to express everything you need and knows how to guide you through difficult moments. Not only that, she understands how to untangle your mind and show you how and why you feel the way you do and act thw way you act. She has a smooth, caring voice that is very genuine and working with her has empowered me, made me the confident man I always yearned to be, and most importantly, gave me the clarity that I was seeking for such a long time. I cannot begin to express how much I would reccommend Jamie to anyone who is looking to heal, find clarity, find themselves, and thrive in life. Thank you Jamie for being you, forever grateful.
Jamie is compassionate and understanding. She is careful with her words and seeks to assist me (the parent) even when my daughter (teenager) is refusing to speak with her. This is a great option for seeking help and I am so glad I found this website and Was matched with Jamie.
I’ve had about 2 live sessions with Jamie already and she is absolutely amazing. It has been really hard to find a good therapist but I am so happy to finally have found one! She is empathetic, great listener, and gives great advice. Every time i speak with her I feel a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders! Love love her
I find Jamie very helpful in the way she speaks to me and we address subjects. I find Jamie very easy to talk to and highly recommend her
