About me

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and I began my career in counseling in 2013 when I entered my second master’s program at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. I graduated with a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling in 2017 and obtained full licensure in 2019 in the state of Minnesota.

Over my years in mental health I have worked with clients of many different ages, but the majority of my experience has been working with children, adolescents and teens. I understand the difficulties of parenting in the age of social media and constant technology, as well as the pressures on our children to succeed, and succeed well. Getting through the teenage years may be even more difficult now than it has been before but know that there is a village here for you, whether you are the parent seeking support or a teen looking for a place to be heard. I have a family of my own, including two young children, and try to practice much of what I teach to others in my own life and with my children.

Holly validates my experience and makes me feel heard. Her suggestions are tangible and achievable; I don’t get overwhelmed. I always feel a lot better after my session with Holly.

Holly is very helpful and professional. My 16 year old daughter connected with her and was comfortable right from the start. She gave great advice, listened well, and gave suggestions and things to work on between sessions.
