I have worked with youth, teens, and their families for over ten years to help create additional collaborative support for emotional, behavioral, social, emotional, and academic issues with helpful counseling and guidance and daily life skills.
With several years experience as a special education and music teacher and as a school counselor and therapist, I have had very successful experiences working with youth ages infant to eighteen years old for help with a wide variety of symptoms from mild depression and social anxiety to ADHD, addiction, and those on the autistic spectrum.
My therapeutic work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (evidence based). I add creative and expressive arts therapy, if the child expresses interest, to curtail the therapy to help each child uniquely learn, grow, accomplish goals, and have fun with the process of change and development. Examples of this can range from what the client expresses interest in including, but not limited to journaling, singing, writing songs, dance, drama, poetry, sports, and play that works with specific personal blocks while taking small steps toward living a more fulfilling and enjoyable life.
It is my goal to help youth accomplish their goals to live a well rounded, fun, and motivated daily life for themselves as well as with their family and friends, for now and in their future. It is very rewarding and hard work for everyone involved, but can be very worth it with many positive long lasting outcomes.
Please feel free to contact me to discuss more about how the sessions work and how to get started. Thank you, Holly Duffy, LMFT

No review by me is going to do justice to just how helpful and amazing Holly has been in the few months I've been working with her. If there was such a thing as the perfect therapist for a specific person then teencounseling.com did just that for me. I'm so grateful for all the help and guidance Holly has given me. She is empathic but stern and direct when you need her to be. Can't recommend her enough. 6 out of 5 stars!
Holly is a wonderful, kind and understanding therapist. I have no difficulty to open up about my issues and emotions. She can relate and validate my feelings. She gives useful advices. I have pleasure working with her.
Having weekly online sessions with Holly has definitely helped my daughter cope with issues during this difficult time. I highly recommend this service for your teen. Holly has been the highlight of her week.
So far so good. Holly builds trust quickly and is a very compassionate counselor. I don't know her very well yet but have already been impressed with how helpful her suggestions and encouragement are.
Holly is a wonderful counselor. She is great at tailoring her approach to the client's needs and exudes positive energy and compassion. Couldn't recommend her more!
Holly is so very caring, empathetic, and supportive. She is incredibly intellectually curious and attentive to the clients issues. She rapidly comes up with an array of creative treatments and logical analysis. Just a very kind and smart professional.
Holly has been instrumental in my healing process. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone in need of therapy.
She has worked with me and communicated even when I’ve struggled. We have only had one video session but she’s helped me open up and recommended some really interesting reading material. She’s also helped me look at things from different standpoints.
Holly is super a super kind, empathetic and passionate counselor. There have been days she has gone over our scheduled time just to lift me up. I am super grateful to have found such a beautiful soul. I wish her success with everything she does and wish more people have the good luck to work with her.
Holly is a very engaged counselor and provides a safe space for me to work out my feelings and issues. She provides a ton of value in between sessions by sending helpful links, articles, videos, etc for me to continue my personal development outside of our sessions which I find really helpful.
Holly Duffy is amazing and I'm so glad I got this app!
I didn't do my session and she has been great. Still checking in, in a good way.
Thank you Holly for taking the time to listen to my concerns. She always checks in and gives great advice as well as links to articles and videos concerning my issues. She is a great listener.
Holly is very helpful and understanding. She helped me change my views in a lot of things that I closed my mind on. When Holly didn’t understand something she would respond with a question and follow on with her thoughts and what she thought was a good idea to do to help me have one less thing to stress about. Holly gave me lots of tips that have helped me double think before I let another anxiety attack kick in. Extremely appreciative with the time she has made to help and guide me to a better day! Thank you, Holly!
Holly has played a key role in helping me with anger issues. She’s given me the space to vent and get it all out, while also taking me back to reality. I’ve learned healthy new coping mechanisms and have a wonderful counselor to take it all out with. I highly recommend her, as she’s compassionate, thoughtful, a great listener, realistic, and I truly feel like she cares!
I was initially on the fence about speaking to a counselor about my situation, but Holly has been very warm and helpful to my issues. I’ve never spoken to someone about my problems before, so I didn’t know how to open up about things; Holly had been very approachable and made me feel comfortable immediately. I would definitely recommend her to others that may have similar issues.
Holly has been very helpful and responsive!
