Erin Johnson is a Licensed School Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with North Carolina. She has gained a wealth of experience addressing numerous mental health diagnoses and stressors that can impact lives. She has 9 years of experience working with children, teenagers, and adults within the mental health community. She received her Bachelor of Science in Child Life from East Carolina University and her Masters of Social Work from Fayetteville State University. Erin has definitely helped me through her counseling. I really appreciate her direct, down-to-earth approach. She is not condescending or skeptical, but actually listens and helps me feel more grounded. She uses a variety of tools in counseling as needed or desired. I would definitely recommend Erin to anyone looking for an experienced counselor.

In these first couple weeks of working with Erin, she has been phenomenal about helping me get real about what's going on for me in my life, which has been so refreshing! She understands the nuances of personalities and how they impact relationships, and has already begun helping me unravel my struggles in my own relationships. Erin is seriously great. I've been in therapy on and off for the past eight years and have tried five different therapists - none of which I connected with, and as a result I found myself having a huge guard up when it came to therapy. But then I found Erin. She is seriously phenomenal. She is the first therapist I have ever been able to tell everything to without fear of judgement or feeling like I need to sugar coat things so that they sound "okay." Erin has made me realize that it doesn't matter if it sounds okay, it's just important to be honest with yourself. I love her blunt demeanor, it works perfectly with my personality type - although blunt, she is always supportive. She is also really great when it comes to making time for appointments, even when it sometimes falls outside of her availability. Overall, I could not recommend Erin more. She has changed my outlook on myself and the world around me.
After only two sessions, I feel completely comfortable and 10x more confident after working with Erin. I’m looking forward to further work with her.

I am a middle-aged woman and have tried therapy multiple times throughout my life. I often felt judged by previous therapists or pushed to talk on things that I was clearly not ready to discuss which lead me to deeper holes of depression and in bouts of pushing people even farther away. After almost a decade of trying to figure things out on my own-or maybe the pandemic had something to do with it? Who knows? I hit a new height of fear and isolation and became scared of what I may do if left to myself and reached out to teen counseling.
My first counselor and I that were matched were a terrible fit lol I had 2 more sessions paid for so I figured I might as well use them and I requested a new counselor and received 4 profiles to choose from. Luckily, Erin was one of them! Erin is a breath of fresh air to my life. I feel like she is more of a partner in crime working WITH me on my mental health and day-to-day life. I feel like with her in my corner- I am more equipped to handle myself and my inner-workings that have hindered me and previously held me back in life. I am very thankful and happy I stuck things out with teen counseling and was introduced to Erin. If you have the chance to work with her- take it!!!
I have never done counseling or therapy in anyway. I was at such a low point in my life that I reached to teen counseling. I got matched with Erin as my counselor and it’s practically saved my life. Shes very honest and blunt, but sometimes that’s what needs to be heard. At the same time she’s very flexible with her scheduling, and very considerate. She’s the best, and because of her I am a much better person at a much better place in my life.
