About Me

I am a clinical counselor with specializations in trauma, mindfulness and art therapy. I have worked with a wide rage of individuals from all different backgrounds, ages, and walks of life. I have treated a large range of concerns including depression, anxiety, addiction, relationship issues, career challenges, trauma, grief and loss.

My personal style is tough love with a strong focus in mindfulness. I believe that every person deserves to know their worth and live life confident in their own identity and purpose. Honesty, respect and compassion are the three values I hold dear and prioritize within my therapeutic alliance. My approach encompasses humanistic, psychodynamic, dialectical behavioral, and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques. Through our interactions I will tailor my approach to best fit your individual needs.

In the short time I've known Emily she has been there for me through the hardest event in my life thus far and I've never been more grateful. She is extremely supportive and insightful and I dont know if I would be working through my situation as well as I am if it wasnt for her help.

Emily is great! Easy to communicate with and hear back from, and our video sessions are a great break in the week and supported by messages between each video session. We are incorporating art therapy and I love it.
