Dr. Elizabeth Seebach

About me

I am a psychologist licensed in Minnesota and Wisconsin with 30 years of experience. I help people work through many different issues including eating disorders, stress, anxiety, depression, parenting concerns, and relationship issues. My doctorate is from Vanderbilt University, with my internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Brown University. My work as a psychologist has been in practice settings, on college campuses, in hospitals, and in virtual practice, with a broad range of ages (2-95! ).

My goal is for each person to acquire improved insight and understanding of their own unfolding life story, and to learn or improve skills in order to lead to a better sense of self, a clearer sense of identity or direction, and healthier functioning. I believe each of us has inherent value and that together, we will find a path through day-to-day challenges. My style is warm and supportive, focused on helping you learn about your strengths and challenges. My combination of cognitive-behavioral and family systems perspectives and neuropsychological training allows me to offer this work in a calm, comforting atmosphere.

Whether your concerns stem from interpersonal difficulty, identity questions, coping with medical issues or other stressors, or a sense that you could be happier and more at peace with your world, we can work together to help achieve your goals. The first step is in your hands. I look forward to helping you on your path.

Dr. Seebach is wonderful. She listens intently and helps me make connections between past situations and current ones. She is very professional but also very personal. When I'm talking to her, I feel like I'm sharing with a really wise friend!

I can’t explain to you what it is but she understood me from day one. Unlike many people in my life, she’s always given me the space to be myself, express myself, and be open to hearing what’s going on. Despite how one-sided counseling can be, she has always been able to provide another side to it which helps me understand things better. She’s given me the space to grow and challenge The negative voices in my head. I’m very thankful and blessed to have been matched with a counselor like this so soon.

Very kind and she explains things in a way that's very understandable. Gives me good coping methods and listens to what I have to say. Always gives good advice and responds fast.
