Hey! I'm Diana, and I am an LCSW with 22 years experience . I have worked with adolescents for the majority of my career, and began working with adults in addition to teens in 2009. I have been in the role of a clinical therapist for that entire time, and in the last 7 years I have also been a program director a psychiatric facility for children, adolescents, and adults with serious mental illness. I have been licensed as an LCSW since 2002, and also been certified as a a Diplomate in CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy). I incorporate a eclectic set of skills, theory, and therapies in my practice. Some diagnoses that I have worked with include Attachment Disorders, Behavioral Issues, family conflicts, ADHD, Anxiety and Depressive Disorders, Adjustment Disorders, Borderline Personality Disorder. I truly believe that my career as a therapist has been a calling, and it has been my honor to provide therapy services to those in need.
I provide a good balance of warmth, honesty, empathy, and accountability with my clients. I will start right where you are, but once we decide where you want to go, I'll be the one supporting you by teaching life and adaptive coping skills, educating about diagnosis, and holding you accountable to the goals you set. Therapy is all about knowing yourself, and I hope that you give me a chance to go on that journey with you.
Take Care, Diana M. Smith, LCSW.

Diana is the first therapist that I feel has truly helped me in a significant, meaningful manner. She laughs at my jokes and helps me understand the underlying problems behind some of my moods and behaviors. She’s the first person who helped me understand why I am the way I am. She’s absolutely great.
We’ve been seeing Diana Smith for a little over a month and have been really pleased with the progress we’ve made recently. Her insight has been helpful and she’s given us great advice with how to better our communication. Thank you, Diana!
