My name is Deborah Gullatt. I am a licensed therapist in Texas with 28 years of professional work experience and have spent 20 years providing therapy to teenagers. I have experience in helping teens with stress and anxiety; trauma and abuse, anger management; depression; educational and career skills; drug and alcohol abuse; relationships with parents, teachers and peers; prevention of cutting and self abusive behaviors; and helping teenagers of all ages to survive the bullies. For your therapy sessions, I prefer to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. With CBT, the therapist will gently support you to set goals that you want to set for yourself. I will be there to guide you with the tools to help you meet those goals. During therapy, there may times you are very sad; then there may be times when we get a terrible case of the ‘giggles’. Therapy should be serious but also a special and enjoyable experience on your way to feeling better. I believe you possess many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
