I am a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed in Texas with experience working survivors of abuse, youth in juvenile facilities and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With this experience, I have worked with individuals with a wide range of issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, family conflict, family violence and stress. My experience working with teens can help you feel heard, empowered and motivated by giving you a voice to create the change you are searching for.

My counseling style is warm, empathic and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines DBT, solution-focused and client centered counseling. We will work together to create a treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

Before the first appointment, Debbie communicated with me about any- and everything I wanted to know, while still respecting my teenager's privacy - which made me feel incredibly confident in trusting Debbie. After the first appointment, my teenager decided to share something from their session with me, and it left no room for doubt that Debbie is good at what she does. I am so happy to have my kid working with Debbie!
