About Me

I am a licensed psychotherapist (LPC #71097) with 8 years of experience working with adolescents and their families in a variety of therapeutic settings. My clients struggle with a wide range of concerns including depression and anxiety, identity and social challenges, self-esteem, peer difficulties, learning differences, ODD, and ADHD.

My counseling style is warm, and nurturing while also direct and grounded. My approach is based off of cognitive-behavioral and solution focused theories. I look at the whole family system and not just the issues of the individual alone. It is important that they whole family be supportive and involved with encouragement and possibly change.

I treat each adolescent with respect and understanding. I ensure a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment that encourages curiosity, openness, and acceptance of whatever arises. In this way, we work together to understand themselves and the world around them, and to develop effective tools.

If your teen is in need of extra support—be it emotional, social, and or behavioral—I am here to support and empower them.
