About me

I am licensed in South Carolina with 5 years of professional work experience, specifically working with teens and their families. I have worked with teens in the outpatient and residential setting.

I have experience in helping teens with stress and anxiety, family conflicts, LGBTQIA+ issues, trauma and abuse, & eating disorders. I engage my clients in many therapeutic modalities including; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I am also Level 1 Brainspotting trained.

I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!

Courtnie really pays attention to what I share with her and addresses my concerns in a thoughtful and constructive manner. She is very easy to talk to, and great at establishing a sense of trust right out the gate. She's wonderful!
