About Me

Hello! My name is Courtney and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I believe that we have all the keys to unlock the answers to our questions about why we do what we do and feel what we feel. Whether you're here to seek support, answers, vent, or you're not sure, remember you are human. I have worked primarily in inpatient psychiatric settings with children, adults, and geriatric populations. I find that the best approach to therapy is getting it all out in the open. I suggest we take the time to get to know you from the roots up so we can find a solution that is long lasting. I want YOU to work ME out of a job. I am a safe space and nothing is too big or too minute to discuss. I am also a person who knows that humor heals our hearts. Be prepared for a lot of talking and a lot of laughing. We will get through this together.

I think she’s amazing and challenges me in the best ways. I couldn’t ask for a better counselor!

I was so hesitant about therapy but now that we’ve started I look forward to our sessions each week. It’s helping our relationship and me so much more than I expected. Courtney is great and always knows exactly what to say. She makes me feel heard and supported and has given me the knowledge to be able to express myself so much more effectively to my husband.

Courtney is literally life-changing!!!! Definitely recommend an infinite amount of times!!! I’ve only been working with her for a couple months and already my life feels better overall and she has so many solutions for any situation I present. I love how calm she is and how she uses metaphors all the time (soo good for my brain) also she’s gorgeous and has great make up skills. she’s very easy to talk to + she’s hilarious and most importantly I feel like my life is getting better / going more in the direction I want every time I talk to her and do my “homework”.

My teen daughter feels very comfortable talking to Courtney. She allows her to feel heard and makes counseling a place for growth in fun and new ways.

Still early for us so take that as it is, but oh man, I can move very fast in this arena (Bipolar, so things get fast and sporadic at times) and she just keeps right up. Courtney really listens and truly is a good teammmate in trying to understand me.

I am 33 years old and have seen different therapists throughout my life since I was 8. Courtney is beyond the shadow of a doubt the best therapist I’ve ever had. She’s truly a perfect combination of strategic and practical and also nurturing and incredibly empathetic. She has a phenomenal ability to explain the most complex things in a way that not only make sense but relieves the overwhelming anxiety. She makes me feel so heard and seen and is extremely supportive and empowering. I’m so grateful for her and all of her knowledge and insight.
