My name is Cassie Edinger and I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). This is what you need to know about me - I love people and I love the work I do. I operate out of the core belief that you are valuable and important and that you can have hope. When I work with teens I want them to understand that they can have a place where they are seen and heard. I want them to know that there can be hope in a situation where they feel as they have little to no control over their lives when they truly believe they have the ability to make decisions for themselves. I want to work with parents to help them understand their teen a little more and find ways to reconnect with them. I will talk to you as a parent on what you're looking for in the counseling process. I will also talk to your teen about what they want to get from the counseling process. Sometimes those are the same things but many times they are different. I do my best to honor the goals and wishes of both the parent and the teen.

Cassie has provided counseling to my child for 6 months. During this time we have seen a significant improvement in his ability to cope with his anxieties. Cassie has helped him find the tools he needs to socialize without being anxious or fearful. His self-confidence has improved and he now trusts himself to make good decisions, whereas before he often questioned his own abilities. Cassie helped him to find the truths about himself that were always there. We are so very grateful for her services and guidance.
I can sense this is someone that could be a friend outside of the professional realm. This platform allows me to say whatever I feel, and then even edit if I feel it is necessary. I feel safe in expressing my thoughts, and Cassandra is very supportive, and willing to listen, and offers up nuggets of feedback of things I can try or disregard, always empowering me. My marriage has benefited, and now I am continuing for myself. Cassandra even allowed me to talk about that: whether I needed to continue or not. I chose to continue. I wish this platform existed 30 years ago.
