About me

I am a solution focused clinical social worker who seeks to help my clients restore balance within themselves and their environment. Establishing realistic goals helps to pave the journey we take together between client and therapist. It is inevitable for life to provide some type of challenge and I am here to help my clients navigate their struggles utilizing a variety of coping skills developed during our sessions.
I obtained a Bachelors degree in Psychology in 2010 and a Masters in Social Work in 2017. My career path began with child welfare case management, transitioned into clinical work in substance abuse counseling, experienced with family focused counseling and medical social work. I have worked with a wide variety of clients in the community in outpatient mental health and outpatient medical clinic.
I am a solution focused therapist that believes in establishing strong boundaries which empowers clients to live to their best potential. I have worked with children, families and individuals in an outpatient mental health setting. Being a teenager is tough and I enjoy helping my teenaged clients find their purpose and learn valuable skills to navigate through this tough stage of life and carry on into adulthood. I also help the parents learn valuable skills to parent this new generation of teenagers.
I provide a warm and compassionate environment to promote a space for healing and individual growth. I work with all ages from young children to older adults.
I believe that active listening, empathy and validation in a solution focused session provides a positive foundation for effective change.

Very good. Thank you.

Written on Nov 10, 2021 after therapy with Carmon for 2 weeks on issues concerning stress, anxiety, lgbt, relationship issues, family conflicts, intimacy-related issues, self esteem, career difficulties, coping with life changes, coaching, compassion fatigue, depression, addictions, and adhd

I’ve only had one session with Carmon but so far so good. I appreciate that she is an active listener and doesn’t stay silent as I speak with her. She also shares some great tips to help me get on with life and be excited about the future. I feel lighter after speaking with her and I would like to continue working with her.

Work with me!
