Hello! My name is Cameron Schober, LPC, LMFT, and thanks for taking the time to look at my profile. I have spent a majority of my career so far working with adolescents in acute care settings as well as in private practice. I have worked inpatient and intensive outpatient for over 5 years focused primarily on adolescents and their families. I also spent my time concurrently working in private practice working with families and their children. I have seen just about all walks of life, and my approach lends itself working well with both adolescent goals and family goals at the same time. I definitely work well with teens because I feel like an adult teen! I love video games, music, movies, and traveling among other things. I also have a passion for helping those who are grieving as we all lose people in our lives and it is certainly a process to adjust to a life without those people close to us after their death.
Regarding therapy, I usually employ a Solution-Focused and Narrative approach meaning you are the expert on your life and, together, we explore moments when the problem(s) were less or not even around, what made that possible, and how we might achieve that in this current moment or in the near future. Problems aren't born in a vacuum so I also look to see who else in one's life might have significance in reducing the issues we face. I appreciate your considering me as your therapist and look forward to working together if you choose me! Take care.

Mr. Cameron is understanding and very competent. He is one of the very few people in this world that my daughter trusts and he has an excellent ability in working with teenagers.
Cameron is a good listener. He helps you work through your issues by being a voice of reason and reality. We like his simplistic guidance and the way he walks you through potential choices for your marriage/relationships while entrusting you to make the choice that suits you best. I'm thankful to have had his help to restore our marriage.
Very easy to communicate with and seems very knowledgeable. Been pleased with my daughters response to him!
Dr. Schober is a godsend. I’ve recommended the service to all of my friends and family.
Cameron is a fantastic counselor, and I've certainly had my fair share. Very solutions-oriented.
My marriage was headed downhill, so I figured I'd at least try counseling, and I didn't know what to expect. After the first phone visit, I was able to see our marriage was fixable and I knew Cameron could get us there to guide me and give me the tools I need to be a better wife.
Cameron is highly experienced and comfortable to speak with. It’s not easy opening up and discussing issues with someone you don’t know, but he makes it easy and assures you that he’s here to listen and help. He’s done just that for me and I’m grateful that God allowed me to cross paths with such a professional.
I have only been working with Cameron for a few weeks now, but I can already feel an improvement in my overall happiness. He brings out the best in me and puts light on the strengths that I had already, but couldn't quite access.
Cameron is the epitome of professionalism and we really appreciate his willingness and ability to be real. I never felt like we were anything less than a priority for him and enjoyed the online aspect and convenience of teen counseling. We will definitely use again if the need arises!
Cameron is very helpful and supportive. I would recommend him to anyone needing counseling.
I appreciate Cameron because he is straightforward and genuinely enthusiastic about listening to you. He has a good balance of being personable and professional.
Cameron is awesome! He’s understanding, compassionate and it shows. He has great advice and really helps me get through those rough moments. So far I am impressed as he has helped me through the grief process really well so far.
Cameron has helped me gain coping skills in a way I never thought I would. Going into online therapy, I thought I knew everything, but despite slip ups I have grown leaps and bounds. Thanks, Cameron!
He’s very knowledgeable about my issues.
Cameron feels like an old friend that has that open platform to open up. He’s not afraid to speak what is necessary yet does so in such a way where it is not harsh.
Cameron is respectful and responsive. He sticks with me and doesn’t give up on me. He helps me see things from a different perspective. I’ve already come to see him as a trusted friend.
I think he is doing wonderful job. He helps hash out the problems we foresee and promts us to set our own goals and gives guidance to help us reach them. He's very approachable and easy to talk to. I don't feel judged at all. He talks to you in a way that is very casual and easy to understand, not very stuffy or formal.
Cameron was excellent with helping me verbalize the issue at hand and what direction or steps to take to get better. I felt like I could talk with him as a therapist but as a friend as well and that is important to me.
I just started talking to Cameron a couple weeks ago, and it has already helped! He is very candid and casual, but that’s not to say that he isn’t professional. Other counselors I’ve had in the past we’re more structured and serious. With Cameron, it feels less like I’m talking to a therapist and more like I’m talking to a friend (who happens to have a psychology background)!
I think Cameron's look on counselor is refreshing. Instead of focusing on the negative things that happens in our life and reviewing how it made us feel and so forth, he makes us look at the positive things in our lives and how we can bring more of it. He also gives you other tools to experience new aspects of something that you never thought could be looked at differently. He's really down to earth; like an old friendly friend.
A lot of people don't realize that counseling is available online. I was honestly skeptical at the beginning, but our crazy schedules made it impossible to attend counseling in-town, in person. Cameron Schober listened to us, encouraged us, and helped us realize we were cable of making this work. I've already recommended him and teen counseling Us to other couples. It's been a answered prayer. Thank you for all of the help!
I've really just started with Cameron Schober, but his thoughtfulness and intelligence have not gone unnoticed. He has morals and I can tell that he truly wants to work with his patients. I would recommend him any time. I'm glad I found him.
I was skeptical at first because he seemed so young. However, after communicating with him a few times I found him to be very knowledgeable and professional. He was very open and honest and always followed up with me.
Just getting started and quite happy thus far. I'll call him "hard working" for short.
I have been talking to Cameron for coming up on a month now, and I absolutely love him! He's very understanding and easy to work with. I'm so glad that I got him as my counselor, he really takes the time to understand and help me with everything I am going through. You're the best! Thanks!
Cameron is a great counselor, very approachable and relatable. He responds quickly and thoroughly to messages, is goal-oriented and very helpful in reaching those goals!
I have been dealing with depression for many years and did not want to seek help for it due to concern of what they would say or do. It continued to get worse over the years and I got to a point that I knew I needed to seek help. I found teen counseling and was matched with Cameron Schober. I have never opened up to anyone and told them what I have told him. He makes me feel safe that I can trust him and that he will not judge me, which was a big concern of mine.I still have away's to go, but glad I have Cameron to help me through this.
