About Me

I have been a counselor for five years, I enjoy helping people overcome emotional pain and mental suffering. As anyone with an internet connection who can tell you about depression or what a diagnosis is I would like to help you understand that perhaps maybe that is part of the problem. If I have an unhelpful emotions and I know it is biologically conditioned then I know it can be reconditioned with professional help since we are all hard wired for social connection there is a tendency for the nervous system to cause us to feel emotional pain when we feel helpless . I know this in my gut because when I was clinically depressed I still needed the help of professional counselor to adjust to my own personal pain and suffering. I would be honored to help you a navigate the confusing world of online counseling and mental health. I would be happy to help you write the next chapter of your life with more hopeful words that perhaps you can speak or belive in right now thanks to our body being stuck in a kind of survival mode where you feel helpless you are more than a brain on a stick you are first and foremost a human being not a mental health diagnosis.

Bryan has been a real pleasure to work with. He listens without judgement and strives to make you comfortable in sharing what's real in your experience. And he's good at coming back with insights you may never have considered on your own.

Bryan is incredibly helpful, kind, and funny. He is approachable and accessible. He makes counseling enjoyable, and kept me laughing (which I needed) even when times were tough. I’m grateful for his support!

My wife an I came to Bryan without knowing what our issue even was. Bryan in a single session was able to identify the core of our conflicts and determine a healthy and tailored course of action for improvement. I struggle with identifying my emotions and acting upon them at the appropriate time and manner. Bryan was able to assist me in realizing this and building the toolkit needed to address these issues on a daily basis. I am a better version of myself today and will be a better version of myself tomorrow because of him.

I really appreciate what my counselor Mr. Bryan Young do for me. He has the insight. My partner and I had him for only 3 weeks but so many positive changes in my partner and I started to view many things in another whole new light. He makes sure we are ok individually first before even being a couples. My partner said Bryan is brilliant and would like to keep working with him. We both agreed on recommending Bryan for anyone. Thank you again.

I met Bryan as a whirlwind of self-defeating emotions coupled with a scary financial situation and feelings of worthlessness. Bryan walked with me and helped me peel back all my habits that have been amplifying my struggles. I have a lot of scary times and hard work ahead of me, but I am certain Bryan has shown me the right way to handle them

Bryan is very patient and considerate but at the same time analytical. He'll try to walk you through things practically and logically while at the same time compassionately. He also has a good sense of humor, which I appreciate. The time I spent with him as my counselor was very helpful for my mental health.
