Brittany Brown

(MSW, LCSW)

About Me

I am LCSW in the state of Virginia with over 5 years of experience working with various populations. I am very open minded and person centered in my approach. I believe that ONE of the ways to change your situation is to evaluate your thoughts around it. I have worked with clients with a diverse range of diagnosis such as anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, autism, and individuals with intellectual disabilities. In the past I have worked with children and teens who have had a diagnosis of ADD, ADHD, etc. I work from a person centered perspective while also understanding the role of care givers and family. I am an alum of Virginia State University (BSW) and Radford University (MSW).

Speaking from a parents perspective, Brittany has helped my child and I feel as though he is in a much better place.

I was very hesitant to finally take the leap to pay for therapy due to my financial situation, but I’m SO happy I invested in myself and trusted Brittany! I’ve only had 2 sessions with her so far, and I feel better than I’ve felt in months. She is so empowering, kind, and empathetic without any judgement. She is smart and gentle and so easy to share with. I’m so grateful for her!
