I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been providing counseling for the last 5 years. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, substance abuse and parenting issues. I have worked with clients from many economic and social backgrounds.
When working with teenagers, my counseling style focuses on combining strengths and empowerment with the introduction of self-regulation skills. What that means is that I try to focus on helping clients identify what skills and experiences they already have that can help them to face their current challenges and on identifying what skill gaps they have. That often looks like a lot of questions to encourage looking at situations from a different perspective or to reflect on successes that could have taught skills useful now. When skill gaps are identified, I have experience teaching concrete specific techniques or exercises that introduce or reinforce healthy, appropriate coping skills. I don't use "therapy homework" unless the client and I can both clearly see how it would be helpful (i.e. log of feelings, thoughts etc.).
- Stress, Anxiety
- Relationship issues
- Self esteem
I also have experience in LGBT, Family conflicts, Trauma and abuse, Grief, Intimacy-related issues, Eating disorders, Parenting issues, Bipolar disorder, Coping with life changes, ADHD

Bridgette is amazing and very understanding she is Extremely helpful and I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you Bridgette for your continued support. It means a lot to me!
Timely, responsive, good boundaries for couples work. I was hoping for a bit more effort to translate concerns to the other party, versus just making me take responsibility for my own stuff, but everyone has their own style. It's a bit early yet to have a firm opinion but I am hopeful that she can help us.
Bridgette, was a great help for me. She listened attentively and provided relevant and helpful feedback. Her approach is very sincere and I would definitely recommend her.
Bridgette does a wonderful job of listening to my struggles and providing me with the skills and coping mechanisms to combat my toxic habits. I love how available she is and the knowledge/passion she has regarding her work!
