About Me
Hello and thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. It is important for you to be comfortable with the clinician and the process of anyone who works with your child. Now, about me. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Life Coach in the state of Maryland. I am also the parent to two young men who presented me with a variety of challenges as they grew from boys to men now living and working independently. I chose to enter the counseling profession to continue to serve my community of parents and the young hearts and minds they love.
My goals in therapy are to empower your teen in navigating the challenges presented by life and to ensure that they have the tools necessary to begin the healing process and transition to a stabilizing and healthy mental status. Working with teens proposes some unique challenges. Yet, I enjoy working with teens and helping them to identify why they feel the way they feel and help them to process behavior change. I provide a non-judgmental environment while supporting the principles of being a productive individual as they work to achieve their goals.

She’s been helping through the darkest times of my life
Beverly is great. She listens to my concerns , issues. She offers many different tools for me to get through my daily issues.
BEVERLY ROUSE has been VERY instrumental in guiding my teenage son thru this pandemic and homeschooling. He was failing his courses in the beginning and over time she helped both of us communicate, set boundaries, and develop realistic goals.
Beverly has been an asset to my family. She is very professional and kind. She is working with my daughter and has allowed her to open up in ways that I have not been able too. We appreciate all of the time and effort she is putting in and making a difference with teens. Thanks for all that you do and keep you the great work.
After looking for the right fit, Beverly has been amazing. She is patient, a good listener, and has been good at always guiding the conversation to being most helpful and meaningful. I know she has a lot of clients but she is great at always being present and remembering the details. I would highly recommend her.
She is amazing and extremely helpful!
Beverly has been super helpful and offers great ideas and advice for issues I am dealing with.
Ms. Rouse is attentive and engaging. Good listener. Provides good solutions to concerns.
Beverly is helping me to transform my life. She is not just a counselor, but a listener. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a listening counselor. I have had various counselors before her and they didn't provide as much support as Beverly. Thank you Beverly for helping me along my journey. You are an amazing woman!
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Beverly. She’s real, she’s honest, she’s down to earth and she feels like someone who I would be friends with Outside of our counseling relationship. I trust that she is going to give me the tools I need to tackle the challenges that I face in my life. My only complaint would be that our sessions, which are currently 30 minutes, are too short! Other than that, Beverly is wonderful, comforting and trustworthy.
