Welcome! I have a M.Ed. degree in counseling with school counselor certification and LPC-S licensure in the state of Texas. I have worked as a therapist for 11 years in private practice and inpatient behavioral health settings as well as school counseling for 16 years. I love working with kids and adolescents to facilitate positive change. My clinical approach combines a mixture of cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy and mindfulness. I have also completed Be Vape Free training through the Catch My Breath program. Teen vaping has increased dramatically over the past two years and that has prompted me to gain training in this area to help our teens make healthy choices. I also help children and teens with anxiety, depression, mood dysregulation, and positive coping skills.
I look forward to working with you and your child.
Please note that I am a part-time therapist on this platform seeing clients 1-2 days a week. I do check-in with clients between sessions and respond to weekday messages within 24 hours.
