Andrew Dill

About Me

Hello! My name is Andrew and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over four years of experience providing therapy services. I hold a Master's Degree in Social Work from Fordham University and an undergraduate degree in Social Work from Seton Hall University. I have worked in a wide range of therapeutic settings including: inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, crisis response, intensive outpatient programing, and traditional outpatient programing. I have worked with clients across the lifespan including children/adolescents, families, and adults. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, family issues, OCD, ADHD, existential issues, and substance use . I also recognize and am specifically trained in treating trauma in both adolescents and adults.

I pride myself on the experience that I have had working with both teens and their families. I have worked with teenagers who present with mood disorders, self-harm, substance use issues, criminals behaviors, and opposition to authority figures. My main goal in working with adolescents is to build a solid relationship. Is is through this positive relationship that I am able to begin the true work in reducing negative behaviors. I also believe that when working with an adolescents, you are also working with the family and parents. I utilize a structural family therapy approach when working with adolescents and their families. We together will find a treatment option, coping strategies, and focus for empowering the entire family unit to move forward in a positive, and healthy life!

Andrew is a very skilled counselor. He is quick to understand my son and the problems he is having, and is a patient listener. He is insightful and has offered many good tips and advice for how to handle problems. He is also patient and understanding in talking with me, as the parent.
