I am licensed in Mississippi with over 10 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with trauma and abuse, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, depression, & coping with life changes. I also work with students to make college and career connections. I am an LGBTQ+ advocate and ally as well. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

I have weekly appointments between the hours of 10-5 pm. Times before 10 am and after 5 pm are available by request. "I'm looking for a mind at work!"

Amanda has been an absolute blessing! She’s understanding of my concerns and has no problem talking me through whatever issues I’ve had that week as well as continual work with me for all of my underlying chronic issues. Amanda Adams is the therapist that was literally made for me. She know what I need, even when I can’t see that it’s something I need to address. She challenges me and gives thought provoking homework. After each session I feel a sense of lightness and others can see the progress I have made since working with her on my anxiety.
