As a Licensed Professional Counselor it is my passion to help my clients grow in the areas they most desire or that will make the greatest impact. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relational problems, or other life issues I believe therapy can be great and beneficial. But it is not a magic pill. Personal change requires a plan and takes work. Human change is an ongoing process that happens over time for each of us.
Over the past 7 years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and young adults. Common focuses of treatment have been: communication skills, behavioral problems and disturbing home or school placement, developing self-worth, identifying future goals and developing action steps to achieve these goals, and processing past adverse experiences, better known as trauma.
If I can help and you would like to see if we can work well together, I would be honored to meet you.
Jan 2022 Edit: Hello & Happy New Year! I am seeking clients who are hoping to address a specific concern/topic and wrap up in the next 4-6 weeks. Out of full transparency, I am currently 8 months pregnant and expecting the second week of March. I will continue to work, as I have been, through the month of February. You may notice less availability near the end of the week, due to family visiting, doctor appointments, and reducing the length of my work week to better care for myself. Once our little girl is born, I intend to take 8-12 weeks to spend with her. We will develop a plan, individually, in our upcoming sessions.

I couldn't be happier with her! She's so wonderful and has helped me so much
I appreciate her giving me feedback in regards to my child.
When my husband and I first started therapy, we weren’t sure if we would like it or not. Our first session was with Alexis, and she immediately made us feel comfortable and secure. She helped us in so many ways! I highly recommend Alexis for a therapist!
My first doing therapy, and I’m so glad it was with Alexis. She’s thoughtful and compassionate. She really was what I needed at the time and I’m grateful to her!
We’ve only been working with Alexis for a few weeks but I am already seeing a difference in my relationship with my husband. Alexis has been great. We look forward to our appointments with her and our sessions lead to good discussions later. I feel like Alexis truly listens and provides support to the both of us. She is also incredibly responsive and provides us with thought provoking activities. Couples therapy is a scary thought, but I couldn’t be happier that we started this endeavor and were matched with Alexis.
Alexis is simply everything that I’ve been longing for in a therapist. She’s so attentive to detail (literally remembers things I forgot I mentioned!), challenges me with different approaches, and every session she makes it so easy to connect with her while covering the important details. I look forward to my sessions now because I feel that Alexis has my back with the right intentions! I’ve noticed after each session I feel very lifted. Thank you, Alexis!
Alexis is a GREAT therapist who is very attentive! She has helped me tremendously.
Alexis is kind and patient, prioritizes your main struggles and goals, as well as suggests sources for you to research. She wants to help and does her very best; Alexis makes sure you feel genuinely cared for. A wonderful pick
Alexis is empathetic and supportive! I couldn’t recommend her more as a counselor. I look forward to our sessions every week.
Alexis is great! She listens, gives advice, never judged, etc. I’m so thankful for her.
Too overloaded and not consistent with appt times that I could do.
Wasn't pro working things out and communication, as she wasn't interested in helping us.
Not concerned with our mental health and I feel it was a complete waste of time with her.
Alexis is the best therapist I have worked with. I recommended the teen counseling service to my son based on how well they matched us up.
Alexis retains information I don’t even remember telling her- she is a very intent listener and guides me in a direction that allows me to work through my thought process and understand why I respond in the ways that I do to certain situations. She is very relatable and easy-going and I felt very comfortable with her from day one.
Very helpful, knowledgeable and supportive.
Alex is one of the best therapist. She listens to me and offers things for me to think about. She's very easy to talk to and it just feels like I'm talking to a best friend who doesn't judge. I would recommend her to any and everyone!
I would like to Thanked Alexis for helping my babygirl, she's 17 but has gone thru a great deal and her advice has helped my child cope with her issues. Thank you.
Very easy to talk to and very helpful
